To combine PDFs on the Mac, start with two or more source files. pdf which has been scanned on a photocopier, I want to open it with the thumbnail view showing, so I get an overview of the document. How do I make Preview default to showing the Thumbnail sidebar? I use Preview for documents. However, I cannot seem to set it as the default viewer for PDF documents.
I’ve started using Preview to view PDF documents as it seems so much quicker than Acrobat Reader. I hope other companies can do what Foxit did to Per instructions from Doris, I downloaded Foxit Reader version 9.3, and Foxit is once again my default pdf reader. FIXED!
